Am I ready to hang up my camera...No!
After over 30 years, I often wonder if I'm ready to retire. It feels like a big step. I love what I do, but it’s time to think about the future.
Recently, I went through my galleries. I found many beautiful images of families, dogs and horses. Each photo tells a story. They capture moments that will last forever, even if our pets do not. I realised how special these memories are.
I have photographed some pets from the start of their lives to their later years. It's amazing to see how they change and grow. Each portrait is more than just a picture. It reflects their personalities and the bonds they share with their families. Every wag of a tail or glint in an eye shows joy, love, and life.
These pets bring happiness to many people. It is a privilege to capture their spirit. Each session feels like creating a piece of fine art. It is not just about taking a photo; it is about freezing a moment in time. Each frame is a reminder of the love and joy they bring.
As I think about retirement, I feel torn. I could step away, but my work means a great deal to me. The opportunity to keep creating memories is powerful. Even after all these years, I still feel excited every time I pick up my camera.
Maybe I am not ready to retire just yet. The world still has many families, pets and beautiful stories waiting to be told. I look forward to capturing more moments, one photograph at a time.
