Engagement - Pre Wedding
Engagement Shoots are very relaxed and follow my documentary approach for the wedding day, I'm not going to ask you to pose awkwardly or smile at the camera!
Engagement or Pre-wedding photo sessions are ultimately a time to allow us to get used to working together before the wedding day.
For you to see just how easy it is to work with a Wedding Photojournalist who photographs in a true documentary style, but also helps couples overcome any fears they have of being in front of the camera.
Sessions can take place in a variety of locations but I like natural, quiet environments such as woodland walks, country estates, and forests, if you have a four-legged family member bring them too.
What is included in a Pre Wedding - Engagement Photo Session
Let's go for a relaxed walk in the countryside for up to 45 mins, photo session.
A Signing Board with a 20x16" mounted 7x5" photograph. At your wedding, your guests add special messages to you both. This makes a beautifully framed keepsake for your home.

Documentary Wedding Photography
I want to capture the natural flow of the day with all of the laughter, love, and tears of joy.
With so many types of photography out there it can be slightly confused about what is right for you. My idea of wedding photography has not changed from when I was on the paper! I couldn't say to the Queen or the Royals and MP's 'Look at me and smile' so I wouldn't say that to you either.
My goal as a wedding photographer is to tell the story of your wedding day, by keeping things real and keeping things simple. Capturing your wedding day as it happens, allowing the day to flow naturally.
Natural relaxed photography, capturing the now, the fun, the excitement, and the tears of joy, with a few traditional photographs in the mix, while not holding up the day by keeping you from your family and friends.
