An Outside Wedding with our English weather.
Today I set off around the M25 to Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire to photograph an outside wedding in the beautiful gardens of The Hunters Meet Hotel
Wedding Parties can all get ready at The Hunters Meet Hotel. The Bride and the girls were getting ready in the Bridal suite which has a beautiful four-poster bed and a roomy conservatory. With the Groom and the boys arriving a little later to get ready in the main part of the hotel.
While Mary was having the finishing touches done to her hair and makeup, I take this time to photograph the couples Wedding details as these hold memories that the couple will look back in years to come.
Outdoor Garden Wedding
An outside wedding at The Hunters Meet Hotel gardens is truly stunning. Set in the Secret Garden where the guests enter the garden via a traditional 5 bar gate into the beautifully kept garden venue.
A Rose arch leads to the red carpet, where the guests are seated on the left and right. The Groom and the Groomsmen come into the garden and stand in place at the front of this beautiful Secret Outdoor Wedding venue at The Hunters Meet Hotel in Hertfordshire.
The Bride and Grooms music playing in the background.
While some Brides get very nervous on the morning of their Wedding. Other Brides are feeling sick and panicking that they may have forgotten some little detail.
Mary was the coolest Bride that I have ever had the pleasure in meeting.
At The Hunters Meet Hotel, there is plenty of room for all the Wedding party to get ready. Without the chance of seeing each other.
While the Bride and the Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Bridal suite. Which has a lovely bright conservatory that Mary’s Make-Up Artist and Hairdresser loved? Makeup by Ellie Jane MUA and RB Hair Hairdresser (Linked to their FaceBook pages)
I was photographing the Wedding details, bouquets, Wedding shoes, Wedding rings and the Wedding dress.
The Groom, Best Man and the Grooms Men arrived in a very long limousine dressed in shorts and tee-shirts.
The men were also getting ready at the Hunters Meet Hotel in rooms, a fare way from the Bridal Suite where the Bride and Bridesmaid were getting ready, so there was no chance of them seeing the Bride.
I have chosen a few photographs from Mary and Shane’s Wedding day to display on my Blog if you would like to see more please have a look in my Wedding Portfolio.
Wedding Tips from Mary & Shane
Do not worry. Go with what your heart tells you. My wedding was all done on first thoughts.
If it seems a lot of money to start with. think if you can do it a cheaper DIY way. We made a lot of our stuff but took time blood sweat and tears. Along with boredom, went into our favours! And if you have kids don’t forget them!!!
My colouring books and puzzle books were a godsend we had no bored children whilst eating and that was a big worry for me!
Don’t scrimp on a photographer at the end of the day and night in years to come the photos will mean the world. x
